You should apply only for the courses listed below; no approvals will be granted for any other courses:
The applicant must be a permanent resident of Bihar.
The applicant must have passed 10th/12th from a recognized educational institution in Bihar.
The applicant's age must be less than 25 years.
The annual family income of the applicant must be less than ₹8 lakh.
The student must have been enrolled in or selected for admission to a recognized educational institution in Bihar or other states.
Aadhaar Card of the applicant
Certificates and mark sheets of 10th and 12th
Admission certificate from the higher educational institution
Two passport-sized photographs of the student, parents, and guarantor
Family income certificate
Two photographs of the applicant and co-applicant
Six months bank statement of the parents' account
Identity proof of the applicant (Aadhaar card, passport, voter ID, driving license, etc.)
Online applications for the Bihar Student Credit Card 2024 will be accepted. Students who have passed the 12th grade (or 10th for polytechnic courses) and meet eligibility criteria can submit their applications online via the portal or mobile app.
After applying online, the District Registration and Counseling Center will send an email and SMS notifying the applicant of the date and time to visit the center.
On the scheduled date, the applicant must visit their district's District Registration and Counseling Center with the hard copy of the application form and required documents.
The applicant will sign the PDF copy of the application and attach their and the co-applicant's passport-sized photo, along with self-attested copies of the required documents.
The applicant will receive a token number at the entrance of the District Registration and Counseling Center, which will allow entry into the hall. The applicant will wait in the waiting area for their number to be called.
When their number is called, the applicant will go to the designated counter with all original documents, self-attested copies of certificates, and the signed PDF application for Aadhaar verification.
The original documents will be scanned and returned to the applicant, while the signed application and other documents will be collected at the counter.
After verifying the documents, the applicant will receive a receipt.
Any corrections to the application can be made immediately by the Multi-Purpose Assistant (MPA).
After review, the hard and soft copies of the application will be sent to the assistant manager. The assistant manager will verify the applicant's qualifications and documentation, then submit the application online to a third-party verification agency for verification.
Once the loan is approved, the applicant will receive the Bihar Student Credit Card at the District Registration and Counseling Center.
After the approval from the Bihar State Education Finance Corporation, the applicant will be notified by SMS and email about the date to appear at the center for documentation. On the specified date, the necessary documentation will be completed, and the information will be sent to the corporation's headquarters for disbursement of funds to the educational institution or the applicant's account.

Log in as a registered user.
After logging in, fill out the online application form with all necessary details, including your educational qualifications and family income.
Attach required documents, such as Aadhaar card, mark sheets, passport-sized photographs, etc.
Go to the nearest DRCC office with the hard copy of the application and all documents for verification.
Your application will be verified at the DRCC office, and your eligibility will be assessed.
